Contractor of Choice – Mladen Buntich Construction Co. was contracted by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.
Buntich internally rehabilitated approximately 10,000 linear feet of 54” and 60” clay tile lined RCP sewer using 48” and
54” Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe (FRP) that was inserted into the sewer utilizing sliplining methods. The alignment also
included the internal rehabilitation of two curves underneath major streets, which we successfully lined
internally using custom short liner pipe joints which allowed us to avoid open cutting these portions and thus
eliminating a major disruption to traffic.
Project Features Include:
- Rehab 5,262 LF of 54” sewer with 48” Hobas pipe
- Rehab 4,709 LF of 60” sewer with 54” Hobas pipe
- (4) Insertion / Access Pits
- (7) House / Lateral Reconnection
- (2) Manhole Abandonment
