Contractor of Choice – Mladen Buntich Construction Co. was contracted by the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts.

Buntich pushed through 2,800 linear feet of new CCFRPM slipliner into place by pushing with an excavator with minimal room. As proven from past rehabilitation methods that Buntich crews had developed, Buntich successfully installed 2,800 LF of new liner wasting very little time.

This project consisted of the structural rehabilitation 2,800 LF of structurally deteriorated 36-inch diameter reinforced concrete sewer pipe (RCP) that was originally constructed in the early 1900’s. The existing sewer mainly consisted of 2,800 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe. The Buntich Project Team structurally rehabilitated this project with a new CCFRPM liner via the sliplining method using a 33-inch inside diameter CCFRPM liner. The project crews used an excavator to mechanically join the new CCFRPM liners and to push it into place. The Buntich project team used tools, equipment, and methods they have engineered on how to successfully handle the new CCFRPM liner.
