Pipeline Rehabilitation Contractor of Choice:

Mladen Buntich Construction Co. was contacted by a client after Memorial Holiday weekend due to a collapse of an aging 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP).

Buntich crews immediately┬áresponded and isolated the situation preventing further damage to the existing infrastructure, mitigated any sewage spills, and rapidly worked to rehabilitate the sewer pipeline by sliplining a new CCFRPM liner. The emergency project was completed within a week of the incident and safely restored the existing utility with no interruptions to the key stakeholders. Our crews used equipment, methods, and materials that they have perfected in the trenchless industry for over 20 years and the client couldn’t be happier.

Other additional features included:

  • Access shaft excavation and shoring
  • 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) removal
  • cleaning and proofing of the existing 54-inch RCP
  • 48-inch CCFRPM sliplining
  • Closure coupling installation
  • Annular space grouting
  • Trench backfill
  • Implemented a successful spill prevention and mitigation plan
